I work at the British Council, Trafalgar Square, London. I coordinate school linking projects for all ages, but especially ages 7-14. If you are a teacher outside Europe, please get in touch with me!

European schools please go to http://www.etwinning.net to take part in projects.

If you have a youth project I can also try to help you if you want some people from the UK to be in it.

Next week I'm going to the Eco-Schools Conference at Aintree, Liverpool, where I will meet about 800 UK schools and talk about global perspectives on environmental projects.

We are interested in projects on speaking and communicating in English (literacy); stories and folk tales, citizenship - identity and diversity, information exchange and friendship between schools in French, Spanish and English, creative and performing arts.

Another thing I do is to help set up small projects for schools working with children with special needs such as learning difficulties or mobility problems.
